I wish this was about the beetle, but it's not.
We do have plans for next weekend to at least come up with a solid plan.
But anyway Mom ended up finding a picture of her Squareback,as well as the infamous AMC Pacer; and Dad found a picture of his Vanagon that he had in Germany. I thought these were cool as hell, so I'm putting them up here. Hopefully dad will find some more pictures of some of his past dubs...

Creating History 1.6.2009
Today we did finally got all the paper work for the title finished. Well, I shouldn't say that until I get the title in the mail... That was a pain in the ass; but hopefully it's all done now anyway. We had to go back to Jeff's house to get his signature on the bill of sale; while we were waiting on him to get there his father gave us the tour of his VW collection. Apparently he's quite the guru, which is pretty cool! OK, so P4C, I know here you go...
I know that the Vert with the White interior is a '72, and I think that he said the other Vert was a a '70, but i could be mistaken. Maybe it's cause of my recent addiction to cultwagen, but the '59 is my favorite.
I think that I had fun today
Oh, Dad picked up the Wheels today and he says they're mint. I was at work when he picked them up, but I'm going to see them friday - so I'll take some pictures then.
Sweet.

To drum or not to drum? 1.5.2009
Update: 1/5/09
This morning I went by Wolfsberg Auto, to see if they had come up with a brake drum and spindle for Zoey... Yeah, not so far, but it's all good I'm sure they'll find one,
St. Louis really isn't the hotbed for Watercooled activity (apparently). I also dropped by the Stealer- er, Dealership to see if they'd found anything on how to contact VWoA about Zoey's history. Not so far... So if anyone knows that, that would be helpful...
Alright, so this has been a whopping post full of nothing.
So there.

What's Up Dudes?
So,I've been into Volkswagens since I was about 6 and we had a 1966 Beetle. Then, back in 1999 We bought a MkIV Jetta 2.0 Black with Tan interior. Then in 2002 We bought a Jetta Wagon TDi. I'm still looking for a MkIV Jetta 1.8T (Wolfsberg Edition or GLI).

Those of you who hate reading start here.
Anyway As of last week I picked up a 1974 VW Super Beetle. Yeah, she's a little rough (I can see through the floor - whatever) but she'll be fun. Here's the Link to my Build Up on VWVortex (I am hopelessly addicted to that website; I've been a member there since 1.22.07)
